The Chemistry Behind Your Concord Tap Water
Two reservoirs, two plants, plus purchased water: your tap may draw from Coddle Creek, Hillgrove or Albemarle supply, and taste can shift with the blend.
PFAS disclosure: the city publishes PFAS results and its Hillgrove treatment upgrades.
Disinfectant taste and minerals: hardness is measured at your diagnostic, not assumed.
Whole-House Carbon vs. Culinary RO for Concord Homes
Concord's water comes from Lake Don T. Howell and Lake Fisher, treated at the Coddle Creek and Hillgrove plants.
Whole-house carbon for disinfectant taste and odor.
Optional salt-free descaling if your hardness results call for it.
Culinary RO at the kitchen tap. RO reduces many dissolved contaminants; your diagnostic shows what's in your water.
Elementa Care Plan & 2-Year Warranty for Concord
2-Year Warranty + Elementa Care Plan

Your purchase date starts a 2-year manufacturer warranty on every component. At 12 months, the first annual maintenance is free. Then the Elementa Care Plan applies: each annual service by certified Elementa NC technicians covers the next 12 months. Coverage transfers to a new homeowner who keeps the Care Plan.
Concord Water FAQs
Do I need a softener or just carbon filtration?
It depends on your tap, not a citywide guess. We measure hardness at your diagnostic. Many Concord homes only need carbon for taste; we add descaling only when results show it'll help.
Where does the system get installed?
Usually at the main water entry in the garage, utility room or basement, with RO under the kitchen sink. We'll confirm placement at the diagnostic.
Will RO lower pressure at my kitchen faucet?
RO feeds its own dedicated faucet from a storage or on-demand unit, so your main kitchen faucet keeps its normal pressure.
